Mahlon Hamilton, longtime OACS football and basketball coach, receives his induction plaque, in recognition of his work as a Section V official

Besides "Ham's" contributions to OACS sports as a coach, he held leadership positions in Section V football during the mid 1960s before immersing himself in officiating. He was president of the Rochester chapter of Certified Football Officials and in 1976 won the chapter's Official of the Year award. The Genesee-Orleans League named a sportsmanship award after him in 1985. Ham also was athletic director and professor of education at Genesee Community College, and earned two Distinguished Flying Crosses and four Air Medals while serving in the US Air Force.

Bayne Johnson, 26-4-2 in his four seasons coaching football at OACS, receives his induction plaque, in recognition of his coaching at Notre Dame, OACS, and Pittsford

Bayne compiled an 83-51-7 coaching record at Notre Dame, OACS, and Pittsford, and had the unique accomplishment of coaching two Section V semifinalist football teams, plus winning Section V titles in both girls and boys basketball (his 1975 team remains the last Hornets boys basketball team to win the title).

Notre Dame gave him his first coaching job and Pittsford gave him his opportunity to coach in the elite Monroe County East league, but it was OACS that gave Bayne Johnson his first teaching job - as an eighth grade social studies teacher. Later at Pittsford Sutherland, he chaired the history department and earned a University of Rochester Excellence in Teaching award.
