Main Street looking southwest, from a postcard dated Aug 10, 1912. The taller building to the left of the prominent telephone pole is the Rathbone Hardware store, later to become Thompson's IGA grocery store. It was located on the corner of Main and Maple Avenue. The building burned to the ground in 1985. Also, the building at the right is no longer standing, either demolished or burned.
